Personal Data We Collect

• Profile Information: When you sign in using an OAuth provider (like Google or GitHub), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from that provider. We store this information to manage your account.
• Team and Registration Data: When you create or join a team, we collect the information you provide, such as team name, your running preferences (pace, distance), and any comments you add.
• Uploaded Content: We collect the photos you upload, including any EXIF metadata embedded within them, such as capture time and GPS coordinates.

How We Use Personal Data

This application uses the data for two basic purposes: to facilitate team discovery and coordination, and to send communications.

• Profile Information: Your name and profile image are visible to your teammates.
• Email: Your email is visible to your team captain. We may send you emails about this year's event at the email address associated with your account. Only with your explicit permission will we use the address to inform you about future events.
• Team and Registration Data: Your preferences are visible to your teammates to facilitate coordination.
• Uploaded Content: Images you upload are visible to your teammates. If your team shares the secret gallery link, they may be browsed by anyone, even without an account.

Sharing of Personal Data

We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required by law.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your user profile dropdown. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your personal data, including your user profile, team memberships, and any teams you captain (if they have no other members).
